What our experts do

Their involvement is ongoing, not a one-off credential check.

Design the scoring framework

Each sector expert defines the signals that matter for their profession: the right qualifications, the PQE or banding equivalents, the experience proxies that hiring managers actually weight. Generic keyword matching is explicitly ruled out. The scoring framework is sector-specific and written by someone who hires in it.

Curate which sources we watch

Each expert identifies the boards, career pages, and aggregators where roles in their field genuinely appear early. For healthcare that means NHS Trust career pages and NHS Jobs. For legal it means law firm career pages monitored ahead of the aggregators. We don't chase sources that post late or with low signal.

Review and tune monthly

False positives are reviewed each month by the relevant sector expert. If the scoring framework is surfacing irrelevant roles, the expert adjusts the weighting. If a new source starts listing roles early, they add it. The system improves continuously, not just at launch.

Some of our experts are also available for 1:1 coaching and interview prep.

These are standalone sessions, separate from any platform subscription. No subscription required.

How we built credibility

Every sector we score in has been pressure-tested by an expert who hires in it. We don't claim to score sectors we haven't validated. Today we cover 22 UK industries, 100+ specialisms and 670+ role types, all mapped to ONS SOC 2020.

Sectors we haven't validated yet are flagged on the platform. We'd rather say "not yet" than score your applications against scoring criteria we don't believe in.

Our principles

Five things we will never compromise on, regardless of how the business grows.

  • We celebrate when you cancel because you got the job.
  • We never auto-submit on your behalf. The final click is yours.
  • We never sell your CV or your data. We have no recruiter relationships.
  • We use real source material to draft tailored CVs. We never invent experience.
  • We publish placement rate as our primary success metric.
